    The Best Trucks Under $15,000

    The Best Trucks Under $15,000

Regardless of what the job is, $15,000 is more than enough to buy a truck to complete it. With so many great options to choose from, the hardest part is choosing just one. We selected our best used pickup trucks for under $15,000 available today in Go Auto Outlet’s inventory: the 2009 Ford Ranger, 2008 Dodge Ram, and 2011 Dodge Dakota. Learn more about these models below and make the most informed purchase decision you can!

2009 Ford Ranger: The Little One That Could

A little brother to the Ford F-150, the 2009 Ford Ranger is an excellent economic option . Choose the perfect configuration for your needs with available with XL, XLT, and Sport trims and six to seven foot beds. Opt for the FX4 package to take advantage of Ford’s 4WD system, making for a very fun off-road experience.
Engine options range from a 2.3L for economical city driving, or a 4.0L V6 for towing and highway trips. Available in both manual and auto, you can reach up to 26 mpg on highways—almost double the efficiency of the F-150.
The 2009 Ford Ranger has a sparsely equipped interior, leaving little room for damage on the job site. Optional interior features include bucket seats, leather upholstery, jump-seats, power accessories, and keyless entry. The 2009 Ford Ranger is certainly not a luxury option, but it’s the perfect vehicle for getting jobs done quickly and economically.

2009 Ram 1500: No Expenses Spared

Completely opposed to the 2009 Ford Ranger is the full size 2008 Dodge Ram 1500. A 4.7L HEMI V8 boasts significantly more power than the Ranger’s 4.0L V6, outputting 310 hp and 330 ft-lbs of torque. The 2008 Dodge RAMstands far above competitors in its ability to tow heavy loads.
With an available crew cab long box configuration, the 2008 Dodge Ram is a workhorse for any situation. Choose the stock vinyl upholstery of the ST and SXT options for an economical comfort, or opt for the SLT and Laramie trims for luxurious leather seats and dual-zone air conditioning.
The 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 has a great range of options and more power than you could need. But with a fuel economy of 12 mpg in cities, you certainly pay for it. So choose the Dodge RAM if you’re looking for a full-size pickup that can perform in any condition, and don’t mind paying a little extra for it.

2011 Dodge dakota: The Safe Bet

If the Ford Ranger is too small and the Dodge RAM is too big, the 2011 Dodge Dakota should be just the right size. Balancing power and efficiency, the Dodge Dakota outputs 210 hp and 135 ft-lbs of torque at a highway economy of 20 mpg. This midsize pickup split the difference in the compact vs. full size pickup debate, and features a 3.7L V8 that produces a best in class towing capacity of 7,250lbs. As a midsize pickup, you can carry passengers and tow heavy loads without spending to heavily on gas. So if you can’t decide between the previous two options, look no further than the 2011 Dodge Dakota.

Whether you’re looking for a compact, mid-size, or full-size pickup, there’s a great option for you at Go Auto Outlet. Contact a Go Auto Outlet sales representative today to see any of these pickup trucks in person.
